Mobilising Against Israel’s Death Penalty Law webinar

Global Alliance for Palestine järjestää webinarin Israelin kuolemanrangastuslakia vastaan keskiviikkona 13.5. klo 20. Webinari on englanninkielinen ja osallistuminen edellyttää rekisteröitymistä lopussa olevan linkin avulla.

The webinar titled ‘Mobilising Against Israel’s Death Penalty Law’ will host prominent voices including Arab Barghouti, Khaled Mahajne, Mustafa Barghouti, Zahra Farooque and chaired by Lujane Hamzeh.

The webinar aims to provide informed discussion and reflection on the increased disregard to Palestinians and their human rights with an insight to the following areas:

• The legal framework governing the death penalty in Israel
• The implications for human rights and international law
• The impact on Palestinian hostages and their continued struggle in the face of a brutal occupation
• Constructive ways solidarity groups can engage in informed collective advocacy and action
