Neljäs vuosi ilman koulua Gazassa! – Mielenosoitusmarssi Palestiinan lasten puolesta!

Gazan lapsen ovat odottaneet neljän vuoden ajan paluuta kouluihinsa, jotka Israelin miehitys on tuhonnut.
Neljän vuoden ajan Gazan lapset ovat itkeneet menetettyjä koulupäiviään – menetettyä lapsuuttaan – ja kaivanneet istua luokkahuoneissaan, joissa heidän pienet ja suuret unelmansa olivat kirjojensa kansissa.
Neljän vuoden ajan Israelin miehitys on tuhonnut koulujen lisäksi koteja ja sairaaloita, jatkaen pyrkimyksiään tuhota Gazan lasten unelmat. Lapset kieltäytyvät alistumasta miehityksen suunnitelmiin estää heitä oppimasta, hankkimasta tietoa ja pitämästä heidät tietämättöminä.
Tule kanssamme tukemaan Gazan lasten asiaa, nostamaan heidän äänensä kuuluviin ja vaatimaan heille oikeutta elää lapsuuttaan, rakentaa koulunsa uudestaan ja palata luokkahuoneisiinsa.
Kokoonnumme Helsingin päärautatieasemalle ja marssimme kansalaistorille jossa esitetään Gazan kouluja edustava luokkahuoneen pienoismalli.
Marssin määränpäässä kuulemme puheita ja lastenlauluja.
Näytetään yhdessä, että emme hyväksy väkivaltaa, miehitystä, etnistä puhdistusta emmekä apartheidia!

For four years, the children of Gaza have waited to return to their schools which have been destroyed by the Israeli occupation.
For four years, the children of Gaza have cried for their lost school days, their lost childhood and longed to sit in their classrooms where their small big dreams were inside and in between the covers of their books.
For four years, the Israeli occupation has destroyed not only schools, but also homes and hospitals continuing its efforts to destroy the dreams of the children of Gaza.
The children refuse to submit to the occupation’s plans to prevent them from learning, gaining knowledge and keeping them ignorant.
Come with us to support the cause of the children of Gaza, raise their voices and demand their right to live their childhood, rebuild their schools and return to their classrooms.
We will gather at Helsinki Central Station and march to the Citizens’ Square ( besides OODI library), where a miniature classroom model representing schools in Gaza will be presented.
At the destination of the march, we will hear speeches and children’s songs.
Let’s show together that we do not accept violence, occupation, ethnic cleansing or apartheid!
🔺 Police will be present at the event to monitor security.
🚫 Racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory symbols and slogans are not allowed.
🫂 There are de-escalators on site who you can turn to if you feel unsafe or if something raises concerns.
